Expressing yourself through art can be very therapeutic. I would admit that most of my paintings are cute and colorful and sweet and humorous, but sometimes cute doesn’t cut it. Sometimes it feels good to attack the canvas with your hands covered in paint or with nontraditional art tools like wire brushes.
The second piece in my “Art Therapy” series is a result of those kinds of feelings. These paintings are a bit darker than most of the things I paint, but I don’t think that makes them any less important. They simply illustrate another side of me – as a person and as an artist.
This particular piece is titled “Love Broke My Heart, Art Put it Back Together” and is the companion to another piece I blogged about a few weeks ago. This mixed media piece measures 2’x3’ (24”x36”) and is priced at $285 (+shipping). If interested, please email me at WanderlustArts@outlook.com.
