Murals on the Trail – Minneola, FL – Part 2

You may recall a January 2023 post oddly similar to this one. I am revisiting the Murals on the Trail project discussed in that post because all the murals are now complete! The result is a whopping 20 murals created by local artists celebrating the history, wildlife and community spirit of South Lake County and the town of Minneola, FL.

For those of you in the Central Florida area, Murals on the Trail is a public art project sponsored by Minneola Artworx that brings colorful, large-scale paintings to the US Highway 27 underpass located on the South Lake Trail. You can access these murals via the Minneola Trailhead Park.

  1. Will go to trailhead park to look for Minneola Art Murals, seeking Adrienne’s mural!  How far to walk from parking at trailhead park to murals at hwy 27 underpass?  I am not able to figure out if 2 blocks or 2 miles!  thanks.

    1. Sadly, I do not have a mural on the trail. I’ve never worked that large before but maybe one day! The murals are not that far from the trailhead park in Minneola but there is a somewhat steep hill, so heads up. ENJOY! 🙂
