The Infinite Being Playlist (or Songs to Write a Book to)

The cat’s finally out of the proverbial bag… I WROTE A BOOK!

Here’s the announcement video that went live yesterday on The Wandering Art Historian YouTube channel and on my Instagram…

The cover and title of said book will be revealed soon, but in the meantime, I thought I’d share this very special playlist which is, in a way, the musical story of my book.

Some of my favorite storytellers are musicians, so music played a vital role in the development of my debut novel. I created The Infinite Being Playlist so I could have all the songs I needed to help facilitate my creative journey at the ready. Sometimes I listened to certain songs to help flesh out specific aspects of characters. Other times the songs allowed me to imagine fictional spaces that only exist within the framework of this unique story.

Many of the songs helped me connect with the feelings I was trying to convey throughout the storytelling process. These songs provided the rhythms, the vibes, and the moods for the events you will soon read about. These are the songs that influenced the writing of my book and now I want to share them with you.

You can listen to the songs in the order listed and if this is the route you choose, you will hear a symphonic journey unfold. It’s the story of an artist trying to find her way out of a dark wood and into the light.

You can also shuffle the songs and listen to them in random order and generate your own story, choose-your-own-adventure style!
