My last online event of 2020 was a special presentation on the art and life of Marc Chagall. Chagall was my first art historical love when I was just a baby art historian. Now his work seems more important and more necessary than ever.
Whatever your experience was this year, 2020 definitely came with its own extremely unique challenges. I mean, it is not every day (or year) that one gets to live through a global pandemic, right?! But ART can help with processing all the big feelings associated with a year like the one we just lived through.
Researching, writing and producing this lecture on Marc Chagall brough me an immense amount of comfort this year. To honor his life and the impact his work has had on my life, I created an extra special #CovidClassic.
