What’s New in 2022!

2021 is quickly coming to a close and I want to say a hearty and heart-felt THANK YOU!

I am so, so grateful for all those who follow the blog and to everyone who pops in from time to time to read a post or two. Thank you for all the “likes” and for your comments. You know I love hearing your thoughts!

My thanks to all those who decided to visit my other social media this year, too. The Wandering Art Historian YouTube channel hit 500 subscribers and I posted my 50th video just last week.

As for 2022… well… things will look a bit different.

The Wandering Art Historian book club will not return until Summer 2022.

The Wandering Art Historian email newsletter will go out every other Wednesday instead of every Wednesday.

But the biggest change comes in the form of The Wandering Art Historian 2022 Zoom Course Schedule, which you can view right now by following this link…

2022 Zoom Course Schedule

As you can see, you can now plan months in advance which courses you would like to take. All courses will be hosted via Zoom, which means you can attend from any location. Plus, all courses will be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:30pm (EST).

If you have never participated in one of my courses, this is the time to do it! If you are a regular participant, but missed a class or two, now’s your chance to get caught up!

I have spent the last seven years building up The Wandering Art Historian “brand” as a way to connect with people who want to learn more about art. I also write about local artists, events, museums, and exhibitions to promote the arts in Central Florida. In 2021, I had a creative crisis. I struggled with authenticity in the art making process. I decided to make myself vulnerable and find out what a real, genuine Adrienne H. Lee artwork would look like. The process was challenging and emotional and revelatory. I learned that if necessity is the mother of invention, then authenticity is the mother of reinvention. I reinvented myself and learned an entirely new medium. The resulting artwork surprised me, and it will surprise you, too. Some people wish for a fairytale ending. For me, the fairy tale is only the beginning.
