I was given an amazing gift… the opportunity to participate in Nerd Nite!

Nerd Nite is a FREE monthly event held at Stardust Video & Coffee in Orlando, FL. Hosted and organized by Ricardo Williams, Nerd Nite has been around for over a decade and each month’s event features three local speakers sharing something fascinating and nerdy. It’s kind of like a less pretentious Ted Talk with audience interaction encouraged.
I was honored to be one of the three speakers at the final Nerd Nite of 2023 on Thursday, December 14 and my topic was pretty nerdy… #ArtHistoryTrending: Foodie Pics & Dutch Baroque Still Life Paintings.

I say that this experience was a gift because the holidays are a challenging time for me and lately I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and hopeless about the state of… everything. Participating in this event gave me a positive emotional boost and I met some incredible people who made me laugh and encouraged me to focus on the little victories.
My gratitude to Ricardo Williams for the opportunity and to Marissa and JD, the other two incredible speakers, for being so dang awesome.
Be sure to follow Nerd Nite on social media if that’s your thing. You can also learn more about Nerd Nite by visiting this link…

Congrats to “Super Nerd” Adrienne title of event Dutch Baroque Still Life Paintings as FOODIE ART! Depressing Dutch Baroque art w/skulls & candle tapers burnt down among food is not festive & appetite encouragement! I will watch Adrienne neerd event soon & laugh I’m sure.
